ORURO

ORU Chipaya Ethnic Town and Coipasa Salar - 2 days and 1 night

Day 1: ORURO - CHIPAYAS
We leave the hotel in the morning towards Santa Ana where we can appreciate the ancient culture Chipaya, their houses and unique way of life. Dinner and sleep in the small village.

Day 2: SALAR COIPASA
After breakfast departure to visit Coipasa Salar, we can see how they work the salt and nice view in the region. In the evening return to Oruro city.

ORU Sajama - Full Day

Sajama is located in the national park, where we have magnificent views of the Cordillera, flora and fauna of the plateau, and small villages with old colonial churches.

Day 1:
Departure from La Paz at 07:00 a.m. arrival at the Sajama Nal. Park.  at noon. We visit the world’s highest Keñuas forest at the foot of Sajama. Lunch at hot springs Kasilla. In the afternoon we visit   geysers. At 16:00 return to La Paz or Tambo Quemado, the border with Chile to continue journey towards Arica (extra cost).

Includes: Private transportation, bilingual guide (English-Spanish) entry to the park and lunch.

ORU La Paz - Sajama - 2 days and 1 night

Day 1: Departure from La Paz, on the journey, visiting the colonial church Calamarca recognized worldwide for its collection of paintings of the Archangels Colonial period. At noon arrival to the  National Park Sajama and continue to the picturesque village of Sajama, with a beautiful background of Payachatas on the border with Chile. Lunch. In the afternoon, walking to the slopes of Sajama to see the keñuas forest, which is the highest in the world, dinner and lodging in the ecolodge Tomarapi.

Day 2: Very early visit the volcanic geysers. Return to the ecolodge for breakfast. Tour through the bofedales on the journey to the baths of Kasilla. Lunch. In the afternoon, return to La Paz or connection to Chile. (Extra cost). On the return journey, observing the chullpares which are at the roadside and visit the Church of Curahuara Carangas, famous for its frescos from the colonial period. Arriving at 21:00 hours to La Paz.

ORU Oruro - Sajama - 2 days and 1 ni

Day 1: Depart after breakfast, the journey will visit Callapa pre-Columbian Chullpas, visit the Church of Curahuara  de  Carangas, called the Sixtine Chapel of the Altiplano, because all its walls were covered by paint and canvas of the times Colonial. Arrival at Sajama National Park, registration at the headquarters of park rangers, lunch. Visit the lagoon Huayna Kota, walk in the forest of Keñuas return to the village of Sajama walking. WE spend the night in a small village, in lodgings operated by community members.

Day 2: Visit the Geyser in Junthuta area, at the foot of Mount Pomarape, walk through the pool of Water Thermal Kasilla, where you can take a good medicinal bath, lunch in Sajama town. In the afternoon, go back to Oruro city or La Paz, on the road visit the town of Lagunas.

Includes: Private transport, food, lodging and entrance to the Park.

ORU Oruro Carnival - Duration: 3 days and 2 nights

Day 1: FRIDAY: ARRIVAL IN LA PAZ
Arriving in La Paz and hotel accommodation

Day 2: SATURDAY LA PAZ - ORURO-LA PAZ
Very early departure from La Paz to Oruro in tourist bus. Transfer to the places to observe the Carnival, where you can see the majesty of the costumes of the dancers, and enjoy a unique picture, music and fun.
In the evening return to La Paz, hotel accommodation.

Day 3: SUNDAY DEPARTURE

Breakfast and transfer from the hotel to the airport

Includes: 02 nights lodging with breakfast in La Paz, Transportation to Oruro, full day carnival package, meals on Saturday, companion guide, stands in scenic sites.
