Day 1: LA PAZ-UYUNI
Tour begins in the city of La Paz. Three-hour bus trip to the city of Oruro. Train Oruro-Uyuni. Overnight in Uyuni.

Day 2: COLCHANI-FISH ISLAND-SAN JUAN
Morning visit to the town of Colchani where salt is extracted and refined. This is the gateway to the salt flats. Subsequent visit of “Salt Eyes”, featuring the geological characteristics of the salt flats and the gases that form below the salt crust, and the Salt Pyramids. Continue on to Fish Island (Isla Pescado) with its gigantic cacti and local fauna (e.g., viscachas). Following lunch on the island, departure for San Juan. Dinner and overnight in local guesthouse.

Day 3: SAN JUAN-COLOURED LAGOON
Early departure for the Coloured Lagoon (Laguna Colorada). Along the way, views include the active Ollague volcano and flamingos that populate the Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, Honda and Ramaditas lagoons. Cross the Siloli desert and see the Stone Tree (Arbol de Piedra). Arrival at the Eduardo Avaroa reserve and visit to the Coloured Lagoon. Dinner and overnight at the Reserve.

Day 4: COLOURED LAGOON-GREEN LAGOON-SAN PEDRO
Dawn departure to visit the Morning Sun (Sol de Mañana) geyser, and enjoy a tasty breakfast. Salvador Dali desert, Green Lagoon (Laguna Verde) with its stunning scenery, and the Licancabur volcano. Continue on to San Pedro de Atacama (Chile).

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN LA PAZ
Transfer airport-hotel.
Accommodation in hotel of choice. Optional city tour.

Day 2: LA PAZ – MOON ISLAND- COPACABANA-SUN ISLAND
7:00 a.m. - Pickup from hotel to travel from La Paz to Huatajata by bus. Arrival at Andean Roots Cultural Complex. Travel by hydrofoil to Moon Island (Isla de la Luna) and Copacabana. Visit the Sanctuary. Return to Sun Island (Isla del Sol) by hydrofoil. Visit Pilkokaina ruins; 30-minute hike to the Posada del Inca hotel. Lunch. Free afternoon to explore island. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: SUN ISLAND – COPACABANA-PUNO-CUZCO
Breakfast at the Posada del Inca hotel. Walk down to the Yumani port, visiting the sacred Inca Fountain of Youth. Restaurant lunch and travel by hydrofoil to Copacabana to take bus to Puno and Cuzco. Overnight.

Day 4: CUZCO
City tour of Cuzco. Overnight.

Day 5: CUZCO- SACRED VALLEY
Travel to the Sacred Valley (Valle Sagrado): Pisac-Ollantay Tambo-Chinchoros. Lunch and return to Cuzco. Overnight.

Day 6: CUZCO – MACHU PICCHU
Train to Machu Picchu. Lunch and return train to Cuzco. Overnight.

Day 7: DEPARTURE FROM CUZCO
Transfer to airport
